We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving the Services. By using the Site or App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

The private information collected shall also be used for the purpose identified with Symple's operations and as required by law and/or relevant authorities.

Like many site and application operators, we collect information that your browser or app sends whenever you visit or use our Services ("Log Data"). Log Data may include information such as your computer or device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser/device type, version, the pages or app screens visited, the time and date of your visit, time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

In addition, we may use third-party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze this data.

Location Data

The Symple app collects and processes information about your location to support field service operations. This may include general location information (such as city, state, or region) derived from your SIM card, IP address, or other device data.

With your explicit permission, Symple may also access your precise location using Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. This data enables core app features, such as:

• Assigning and routing field tasks based on proximity
• Recording accurate check-in and check-out activity at job sites
• Tracking travel routes for service verification and reporting
• Providing supervisors with visibility of field operations

You may disable GPS or location access at any time through your device settings. However, doing so may limit certain functions that rely on location data for operational accuracy. Symple does not use location data for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Retention Policy

We retain your Personal Information and data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, including:

1. Active Accounts: Personal Information and operational data (such as job check-ins and field reports) are retained for as long as your organization or account remains active.
2. Legal & Compliance Obligations: We may retain specific records longer if required to comply with applicable tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements, or to resolve disputes and enforce legal agreements.
3. Location & Technical Logs: Raw GPS logs and device telemetry data are retained for operational verification and audit purposes, after which they are either deleted or permanently anonymized.

When personal data is no longer required for operational or legal purposes, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

Data Deletion Request & User Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data stored by Symple.

How to Request Data Deletion:

1. By Email: Send a formal data deletion request to support@symple.my or contact@symple.my with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
   • Your full name
   • Registered email address or phone number linked to your Symple account
   • Organization / Company name (if applicable)
   • Specific details regarding the data or account you wish to have deleted.
2. In-App Request: You may also submit a request or initiate account deletion via the Profile / Settings section inside the Symple mobile application.

Processing Your Request:

• Upon receiving a valid request, we will verify your identity to safeguard your account.
• Account and associated personal data will be deleted within 30 days of identity verification, except for records we are legally mandated to retain.
• Note for Enterprise / B2B Users: If your account was provisioned by your employer or corporate administrator, data deletion requests may need to be coordinated through your organization's administrative administrator.

Communications

We may use the Personal Information you provide to stay in touch and keep you informed. This includes sending you newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information about our services and updates. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by following the "unsubscribe" link in any email we send.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer's hard drive. We use "cookies" to collect information and improve user experience. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies; however, some portions of our Site may not function properly without them.
